After spending her childhood with feline friends, Gabriella was devastated when her beloved cats passed away. To ease her grief, she started browsing different local rescue organizations.
As she was casually scrolling through a rescue group’s website, she came across a post featuring three adorable ten-week-old kittens. However, unlike most cute and cuddly kittens, these ones had never been around humans before and were completely frightened. They were so scared that they refused to let anyone come close to them and would even put up a fight if someone tried.
After a difficult rescue, the kittens were brought to Abby and Layla’s Angels Cat Rescue drenched and shivering. They were quick to find shelter between a litter box and crate, visibly scared of any human presence around them.
Committed volunteers took on the challenge of acclimating the kittens to social interactions, with the goal of building their trust. Despite their initial grumpiness, the three felines eventually grew accustomed to the idea of a comfortable home environment.
In due course, they came to the realization that their human guardians had kind hearts and provided them with a generous amount of nourishment. As time passed, the apprehension in their gaze gradually faded away and they began to warmly receive tender caresses and fondness.
When Gabriella contacted the rescue group, she conveyed her desire to give a home to the shy orange kitty. Despite being frightened at first, Jimmy managed to gather all his bravery and bonded with his new human companion.
