As per the statement given by Christina Hill from Atlanta Humane Society, Boss was adopted by a family who visited the shelter and instantly connected with him. Sadly, Boss had to face abandonment from his original family at the age of nine as they were unable to provide for him.
Earlier this year, Boss was abandoned at the Atlanta Humane Society (AHS). Despite being a lovable pooch, he is still in search of a loving family even after 281 days since his arrival at the shelter. With the temperature decreasing and days becoming shorter, Boss seems to recall how it felt to spend the holidays with a family. He may or may not remember clearly, but his behavior reflects his longing for a permanent home to cherish such beautiful wintertime memories. Luckily, Boss got a chance to spend some time in a foster home, where he enjoyed showing his affectionate side.
According to a statement from his foster mom, Deborah Lareau, the dog named Boss has been receiving a lot of attention and admiration from people in their community due to his dignified appearance. However, his sweet and charming personality may be better suited for a name like Cupcake. In a heartwarming gesture, a generous donor has offered to cover Boss’ adoption fee to assist in finding him a forever home. The shelter staff is also hopeful that a loving family will come forward to adopt this adorable pup before the holidays.
According to Christina Hill, the director of advertising and marketing and communications at AHS, Boss could do well in a family without other pets because he loves being pampered with belly rubs and strolling around outside. Despite his age, Boss still has plenty of love and life left to share, as per Lareau’s observation.
