In Busan, South Korea, a police station has become more than just a workplace for cops. Recently, the station also became a home to a mother cat and her four adorable kittens. The story of how this came to be is one that officers in the station fondly share with visitors. The cat was originally found by the officers after a car accident. Sadly, her babies did not survive the impact. In respect of the dead kittens, the officers gave them a proper burial. After the incident, the stray cat never returned to the police station until a few months later when she showed up again, apparently with the intention to stay. Soon after, the officers discovered that she was pregnant again. According to Love Meow, the cat has become a beloved addition to the police station’s family.
At the moment of delivery, the officers provided aid to the mother cat. They created a birthing area in the guard’s post and even assisted with severing the kittens’ umbilical cords. The police station staff quickly grew fond of the newborns and made arrangements to care for them until they were self-sufficient.
But as time went by, the kittens remained with the police officers. Eventually, they became permanent residents at the station, where they continue to thrive and grow into happy and healthy cats. The officers have developed a strong affection for them and enjoy having them around.
Presently, Molang and her little feline companions are joining their human allies while they perform their tasks.
