In a recent interview with Allure, Jennifer Aniston has revealed her vulnerable side by sharing her emotional struggles with infertility. The 53-year-old actress posed for a photoshoot in a tiny Chanel bra, showcasing her incredible figure. She expressed regret at not freezing her eggs when she was younger and shared that she tried everything to conceive, including undergoing IVF treatments and drinking Chinese teas. Aniston also addressed rumors about her past relationships with Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux, clarifying that they did not end because she could not have kids. The constant speculation about her personal life made her infertility battle even more challenging.
“I was on a journey to conceive. The process of making a baby was quite difficult for me,” she shared about her IVF experience, which happened a few years ago. She added that there were many speculations surrounding her fertility struggles, and it was challenging for her. To increase her chances, she tried various methods, including Chinese teas.
The actress expressed her regret for not having frozen her eggs when she was younger, stating that it would have been beneficial had someone advised her to do so. She has now come to terms with the fact that she will never be able to conceive children. Jennifer, who rose to fame from the hit sitcom Friends, admitted that at the time, she was too focused on her career and did not consider the possibility of wanting to settle down and have kids in the future. She also criticized the scrutiny she faced for not getting pregnant during her five-year marriage to Pitt, adding that the reason for their breakup had been falsely attributed to her refusal to have children. She now believes that there is no need to hide anything at this point in her life.
Following her marriage to Justin, who is currently 51 years old, she faced additional scrutiny and rumors surrounding their 2017 split suggested that her inability to have children was a contributing factor. After their divorce became public knowledge in February 2018, People magazine reported that the couple had attempted to conceive but were unsuccessful. Despite this, Jennifer stated in an interview with Allure that she has accepted that she will not have children and actually feels a sense of relief knowing that the constant possibility of having them is no longer weighing on her.
As she has grown older, the actress has developed a newfound assurance in herself. She revealed that she no longer worries about others’ opinions or comments regarding her. This self-confidence stems from the battles she faced during her late 30s and 40s. Reflecting on those challenging times, she shared that they helped shape her into the person she was destined to be. Without those experiences, she believes she would not have reached her full potential.
