Throughout his formative years, Aaron Benitez encountered several difficulties. Nevertheless, his creativity and talent as a visual effects artist have earned him considerable acclaim lately, much of which stems from his ingenious deployment of his pet cat, Prince Michael, in his artwork. In his most recent undertaking, Aaron’s beloved domestic shorthair feline, Prince Michael, played the part of Phil the cat. This cute little kitten was the last one remaining at the Clearwater Animal Rescue Adoption booth without being adopted.
A small kitten and a family of mice shared food-finding expeditions until they were chased by a human and had to make a run for it. The kitten tried to follow the mice into their hole, but being too big, he found himself unable to fit in and felt a sense of sadness. To lift his spirits, his adoptive mother threw him a birthday party, which was meant to be a celebration of their bond. However, the banner, which read “fake son,” made him feel heartbroken, and he left home feeling lonely once again.
Fortunately, the kitten found a new home at a golf course where the caretaker had a cat working for him. Both cats were responsible for the day-to-day chores, and the kitten quickly befriended the caretaker. He was determined to do something special for his favorite human and started brainstorming ways to show his gratitude.
When Phil was assigned to remove the mice residing on the golf course, he stumbled upon a family of mice. The mother mouse was missing her little ones, and Phil felt sympathetic towards them. Rather than doing away with them, Phil decided to help them. He put the family in a box that he then attached to gas-filled balloons. As the mice family soared into the sky, another cat took a shot at the balloon string, causing the box to fall into the lake. Phil thought the worst had happened, but to his surprise, the little ones held onto the balloons and flew away to safety. The feline couldn’t stay on the golf course anymore, so it hopped onto a truck destined for California. Despite this, the mice family made a vow to search for the cat.
