Meri Brown from SISTER Wives took a moment to remember her mother and their last day together, but the well-known family has encountered many hardships throughout their journey. They have dealt with various obstacles such as deaths, separations, and frightening health concerns over the years.
Meri Brown reflected on the passing of her beloved mother on Valentine’s Day.
The Sister Wives clan has been through several unfortunate incidents over time.
One of the major setbacks that the Brown family faced was when Christine Brown decided to leave them. On Valentine’s Day in 2021, Meri posted a photo of herself with her mother, who had passed away not too long ago. Even though it wasn’t yet the one-year anniversary of her mother’s passing, it had been a year since they had last seen each other. Meri reflected on the loss of her mother, recalling how she had spent time with her during Valentine’s Day weekend the previous year, not knowing that it would be the last time. She found comfort in knowing that her mother was now with her father again and watching over them from above. This tragedy is just one of the many hardships that the Brown family has endured over the years.
It was a difficult time for Janelle Brown when her mother passed away, as she shared on Instagram in 2020. She expressed her gratitude for the small miracles that allowed her and her sister to be with their mother at the end, and also affirmed her belief in the eternal nature of families. Janelle celebrated the strength of women who raise other strong women, just like her mother did for her. Kody Brown also suffered a significant loss in June 2013 when his brother Curtis died in a car accident at the age of 34. Erica, Curtis’s wife, mourned the loss of her soulmate and received words of comfort and support from Meri. Finally, Christine Brown, another wife of Kody, had to face her own nightmare when her daughter Ysabel was diagnosed with scoliosis, a spinal condition that required surgery.
In a Facebook Live session last year, Christine Brown opened up about a scary incident involving her daughter Truely. At just three years old, Truely was rushed to the hospital after her mother suspected she had the flu. However, it was soon discovered that she was actually experiencing acute kidney failure and dehydration. The little girl spent 11 days in the hospital, all while Christine and her husband at the time, Kody, faced the added stress of not having insurance. As a result, they were left with a debt of $450,000.
After parting ways with her husband Body, Christine decided to start a new chapter in her life. She settled into a stunning bachelorette pad that features an elegant beige stone and stucco exterior design. A cozy stoop welcomes guests into the first level of her new home.
She settled into a cozy abode situated in Utah.
Despite facing setbacks, this family has not allowed them to impede their progress.
Kody and his multiple wives are still making frequent appearances on their popular TLC series.
