When a plea for help reached Best Friends Felines, a cat rescue located in Brisbane, Australia, they immediately responded. The request was about two cat mothers and their kittens who required assistance. Despite being busy, the rescue couldn’t refuse the social worker’s appeal. They accommodated the blended family, which consisted of six kittens between Kokoro (black tortie) and Emika (snowshoe), who were born five days apart. When the six kittens hit the 4-5 week mark, they transformed into little balls of unrestrained energy. Koko and Emi did a fantastic job taking care of their six energetic babies. It was a challenging task, but they managed it well. As the kittens grew into lively and healthy cats, the mothers were overjoyed to see them explore and enjoy their surroundings.
