A feline hero emerged when a mama cat showed up with one kitten, but surprised everyone with the arrival of a second! Not stopping there, she even made her way into a nearby nursery to adopt two more little ones. It’s amazing how animals can show such love and compassion for others, even when they’re not their own offspring.
Zayda, the Cat at Community Cat Club
A little while back, Sara Sharp received a plea for help regarding a newborn kitten. According to the message, the kitten’s mother was not taking care of her. Sara, who is the founder of Community Cat Club, stepped in and offered to take the kitten and get the mother fixed if it was necessary. The family decided to surrender both the kitten and the mother. When Sara received them, she discovered that the mother was a Sphynx, which is a rare breed. Sara shared with Love Meow that as soon as they arrived home, they noticed that Zayda, the cat, loved her baby very much. Unfortunately, she seemed not to produce any milk.
Zayda showed up at the rescue center with a tiny kitten from the Community Cat Club. The next day, she was brought to the vet for a health checkup, and it turned out that she had more in store. The vet discovered that Zayda had another kitten inside her, which needed to be delivered immediately through an emergency C-section.
The Community Cat Club was taken aback when Zayda gave birth to another kitten. Fortunately, Zayda underwent surgery and was able to reunite with her two kittens in a cozy nest. The team at the club expressed joy over being able to provide Zayda with the necessary care that saved her life. Although she still could not produce milk, Zayda remained dedicated to attending to Xana and Zia, ensuring they were warm, clean, and loved.

Sara and Zayda teamed up to take care of the kittens, sharing their mommy duties. While Sara bottle-fed both kittens, Zayda took care of other tasks. According to Sara, Zayda would sit on her lap during feedings, keeping an eye on the baby and seeking all the attention.
During feeding time at the Community Cat Club, Zayda excitedly hopped onto Sara’s lap to receive her bottle. As the week passed, the kittens’ eyes began to open and they were looking healthy and plump. Their mother was very protective of them and always kept an eye on them. Meanwhile, two orphaned kittens arrived at the rescue, who were much younger and needed constant care. Sara, being the compassionate soul she is, took them under her wing and placed them in an incubator as their body temperature was not yet regulated. These little ones were just a few days older than Zayda’s babies.
When Zayda got wind of the arrival of the new kittens, her interest piqued, and she went looking for them. After they were isolated for some time to ensure their well-being, Zayda was finally allowed to see them and couldn’t resist sneaking into their nursery. Without a second thought, she clambered into the incubator and began to care for the little ones. “She practically forced me to hand them over to her,” said the caretaker.
The Community Cat Club recently welcomed two new members, adorable kittens named Hermes and Hera. These little ones joined Zayda and her two kittens in their cozy nest and wasted no time snuggling up together in a group known as a “clowder”. Zayda, a doting mother, showered her four furbabies with endless love and affection. As the kittens grew, they began to take their first steps, engage in playful wrestles, and boldly explore their surroundings, keeping Zayda on her toes.
The kittens have achieved a lot in the past few weeks and are now gobbling up their food from a dish with great enthusiasm. They are becoming increasingly lively and mischievous as they zoom around the room, playfully jumping on each other and causing a lot of commotion.
@communitycatclub shared a heartwarming update about Zayda and her kittens. It seems like she has taken in two more kittens, which shows how much she loves taking care of them. However, Zayda is also taking some time off to unwind. Whenever she senses that one of her little ones requires her attention, she rushes to give them a warm bath and a loving hug.
@communitycatclub reports that Zayda is currently spending a lot of time with her foster mate, Lupin, and relishing the warmth and love of being wrapped in a blanket by her humans.
