Asher and Karen were able to identify the stray dog they found by checking her tags, which revealed that her name was Ella. They were thrilled to discover that Ella had escaped from a foster home sponsored by MatchDog Rescue, but had been missing for over two weeks, covering an impressive distance of 12 miles during that time. It was a huge relief to everyone involved when they found Ella safe and sound. Asher quickly contacted the number listed on Ella’s tag and the rescue staff arrived in no time to take her back. The president of the rescue organization ensured that Ella was taken care of and given the rest she needed to recover from her ordeal. According to Asher, Ella has settled down comfortably and has taken a liking to lazing around on the couch.

Ella expresses her gratitude for the love and care that she received while staying in the flowerbeds, where she was provided with soup and blankets. However, thanks to the efforts of Karen, Asher, and MatchDog Rescue, Ella’s situation has improved dramatically. She now enjoys the comfort of a proper bed and is on her way to finding a loving forever home.
