Social media has been flooded with heartbreaking pictures of a helpless animal lying on the side of the road while its devoted companion, a loyal canine, tries to bring it back to life using its tiny paw. The brown puppy’s friend expected it to get up and show that nothing terrible had occurred. Regrettably, the puppy’s body lay lifeless, as it had been hit by an unknown driver who fled the scene. Despite the tragic circumstances, the loyal canine refused to give up hope and struggled desperately to revive its fallen companion, but alas, the damage was irreversible. The driver, even though the event was an accident, had a moral obligation to stop and assist.
